Who Is Unfit?
Mr. Obama said the Republican nominee had repeatedly demonstrated that he was “woefully unprepared to do this job.” The president said Mr. Trump had proved he lacked knowledge about Europe, the Middle East and other parts of Asia.
Is a Shrieking Harpy Fit to Be President?
Hillary has lately taken to the line, "A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons." The argument is that Trump is temperamentally unfit to be president.
Of course, the temperament angle is one that Democrats like to use in every election, especially when a willing media is all too happy to paint the Republican as a psycho. Remember the nuclear holocaust ad against Goldwater? Or Reagan was the trigger-happy nutjob who was eager for Armageddon. Or Bush the cowboy with an itchy trigger finger looking to start a war, the alcoholic fratboy who had never matured beyond adolescence.
Yet is there any evidence that Trump is prone to the same shrieking rages as Hillary?
Former Secret Service agent Gary Byrne details Hillary's violent outbursts
“Most of us knew to brace for her inevitable eruptions,” Byrne wrote. “They didn’t happen every day, but behind closed doors we learned about them fast. In public, she was everyone’s best friend. Privately, she was her normal self.”
Byrne recounts an episode in which Hillary Clinton—in a screaming, obscenity-laced tantrum wherein she referred to Secret Service agents as “assholes”—vented to Bill Clinton that she thought the Secret Service was out to get them. The book reads: ‘They f—ed us, Bill!’ Hillary screamed. I stifled a laugh. The president tried his best to calm her down. He couldn’t. Hillary Clinton possessed no perspective. ‘We need to get rid of these assholes, Bill!’ She thought she was being tough—in command—but the issue commanded her. She fumed that the Secret Service’s Uniformed Division, my branch, disloyal leftovers from Papa Bush, conspired against the administration. ‘They’ve had it out for us from the beginning!’ she kept yelling.
Yes, Trump has many character flaws, but I don't recall any accounts of him launching into a profanity-laced meltdown. If anyone is unfit for office, it's Hillary the shrieking harpy.
The Morass of Khan
Khzir Khan, whose son died as an American soldier, took to the stage at the Democrat convention to lecture Donald Trump. Khan said, "Let me ask you: have you even read the United States constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy. [he pulls it out] In this document, look for the words 'liberty' and 'equal protection of law'.
Let me say to Mr. Khan, READ YOUR OWN DAMN CONSTITUTION.
"Equal protection of law" does not apply to foreigners. The US constitution applies to US citizens. A ban on Muslims is not unconstitutional.
The US was not obligated to accept Japanese or Germans as immigrants during WWII. This country is free to exclude communists, anarchists, fascists, Muslims, and followers of any other repulsive ideology. The US was under no obligation to admit Shintoists during WWII, because it was the religion of our enemies. Islam is the religion of our enemies.
Mr. Khan, I'm glad your son didn't shoot up Americans at a gay nightclub, or slaughter innocent Americans at a Christmas party, or saw off the head of an American woman at a food processing plant in Oklahoma, nor try to set off a car bomb in Times Square. So your son was a war hero, thanks, but there's a long list of Muslim-psuedo-Americans killing people or lining up to join ISIS.
Look, Mr. Khan, it's not about you. It's nothing personal--it's about what's best for this country. And while a Muslim ban would have prevented your son from serving in the army, it would also have prevented a whole slew of killings, which is the point.
The question is, "Mr. Khan, let me ask you, have you even read the Koran?"

Now I know that the Muslim apologists will try to put their spin on these passages, but here are several questions...
Did Jesus ever say anything like this? (No.)
Did Buddha ever say anything like this? (No.)
Was Jesus a killer? (No.)
Was Buddha a killer? (No,)
Was Mohammed a killer? (Yes.)
Did Jesus have sex slaves? (No.)
Did Buddha have sex slaves? (No.)
Did Mohammed have sex slaves? (Yes, often after he had their husbands killed.)
Did Mohammed order people to be tortured? (Yes.)
Did Mohammed order people to be hideously maimed by chopping off hands and feet and blinding them with nails? (Yes.) Do I even have to ask if Jesus or Buddha ever considered such a thing?
Is the Koran more anti-semitic than Mein Kampf? (Yes.)
How did the Christian Middle East become Muslim? Because Muslims went on a rampage of jihad and slaughtered millions of Christians, so when you want to pretend that Islam is a decent religion, you're like the Nazi claiming that Nazism is a peaceful philosophy--history glaringly refutes that claim.
Furthermore, Mr. Khan, I object to your wife standing there in a bedsheet. Yes, she has a constitutional right to wear a hijab, just as she has the right to wear a swastika, which is why we don't want to admit Muslims or Nazis into this country.
The hijab is a a symbol of the cultural retardation of the Islamic world, where...
--women are locked indoors and denied basic human rights
--women are forced to go around in bedsheets and ninja suits
--female genital mutilation is practiced
--hatred of Jews is rampant
--gays are executed
--people can't eat bacon or drink alcohol
--Christians and Jews are persecuted with state sanction
--apostates and adulterers are executed
--scientific achievement is zero
Look at what ISIS is doing, creating the perfect Islamic society based on the Koran and Mohammed's own words. Let's not bring that hell here to the US.
If Speeding Were Treated Like Immigration
Imagine a US where speeding is rampant. As you drive the freeways, it seems that no one is even close to the speed limit and the very act of driving is putting your life in danger. Police officers are given instructions to let speeders go, courts regularly overturn speeding convictions, and there are "sanctuary highways" with unlimited speed. Of course, people are killed in accidents, and a number of speeders will kill other drivers. The Democrats like the situation as it is because by advocating non-enforcement of speeding laws they hope to get the votes of those who drive too fast. Republicans like speeders because they buy engine modifications and parts to boost their cars' performance, plus their fines boost government coffers. An increased number of wrecks pumps up auto sales, so it's a win all the way around.
Some people are alarmed at the number of speeders and the fatalities they cause, not to mention a sense of lawlessness. Those who are concerned are derided as haters, and paranoid haters at that. To point out that some speeders kill is to slander all speeders, who are wonderful people.
Imagine Hillary brings up a young lady at the Democrat National Convention. She says she regularly does 65 in a school zone, but she is part of the American Dream.
Those who argue that traffic laws should be enforced are told that it's impossible. Enforcing the speed limit couldn't be done without a massive trampling of civil rights, sending the equivalent of stormtroopers out onto the highways. You would need millions of officers flooding the freeways. The jails would be full. What are you going to do with millions of speeders? The problem is that the system is broken. What is needed is amnesty, forgiving everyone's speeding tickets and releasing anyone currently held in jail, plus make it illegal for insurance companies to discriminate against speeders.
By now you can see the analogy between speeding and illegal immigration. The problem is not that the immigration system is broken, the problem is that it is not enforced. In the case of speeding, you don't need a massive army of law enforcement--you just start enforcing the law. Pretty soon the word gets out that the law is being strictly enforced and speeding/immigration stops.
Being a speeder or an illegal alien doesn't make you noble. While being an illegal alien or a speeder doesn't necessarily make you a bad person, either, my guess is that people willing to violate one law are more likely to violate another.
Democrats and Thought Crime
Orwell was so prescient in 1984. The concept of thoughtcrime is alive and well in the Democrat party.
In a recent AP report on vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, we find that Democrats are wary of him because of "his personal qualms over abortion." Yet Kaine has a 100% "pro-choice" voting record, plus perfect ratings from NARAL and Planned Parenthood.
So what is the problem? A "qualm" is a mental activity, and Democrats disapprove of Kaine's thoughts.
This puts to rest the idea of "pro-choice" and "personally opposed." Remember Bill Clinton's formulation that "abortion should be safe, legal, and rare"? This echoes Kaine's personal misgivings. Of course, Slick Willie's formulation was devised for suckers who were dumb enough to fall for it. The Democrat party is now a full-throated pro-abortion party that believes the more abortions the merrier.
Kaine not only must vote for abortion, he must not think any renegade thoughts. Similarly, it's not enough that gay marriage is legal in every state, even if it means trampling on Idaho's laws and sovereignty. There can't just be legalized homosexual marriage, but you must bake them a cake, take pictures at their wedding, speak approvingly and pretend that the "wedding" of two men is a real wedding.
Now an edict has come down that any man who thinks he's a woman, or merely clams that he feels like a woman for whatever reason, must be allowed access to women's restrooms, showers, and locker rooms. It is not enough that you accept the odd behavior of the six foot tall guy with a beard who wears a dress and wants to be called Betty--you must consistently refer to him as "she" and "her," or you are facing fines in New York. Tolerance is not enough; your language must show that you are not guilty of thoughtcrime.
Live from the Democrat Convention
Elena Narciso Gomez, a transgender illegal immigrant with a kleptomania disability, whose son was tragically and wrongfully shot while stabbing a policeman, spoke movingly at the Democrat convention in Philadelphia.

Donald Trump wants to put walls around nuclear reactors; we want to build bridges!
Republicans want to exclude children from bars and keep people who identify as animals out of slaughterhouses; we are the party of inclusion!
Republicans want to put doors and locks on cockpits; we want shower curtains!
Donald Trump wants to keep Nazis from immigrating to the US; we refuse to follow the politics of racism and bigotry!
Republicans want to put up fences to keep rapists and pedophiles out of your homes; we want to put out welcome mats!

In Defense of Ted Cruz
Consider the following typical exchange during the 2015-2016 presidential primary.
Moderator: Senator Cruz, what is your position with regard to a proposed return to the gold standard?
Senator Cruz: A fiat currency such as that we currently have enables a government to print money at will, running up huge debt and paying it off by devaluing the dollar.
Moderator: Mr. Trump, how do you feel regarding a gold standard?
Trump: Senator Cruz is a liar.
At first, there's a pause, a moment of WTF? Politics is nasty, but this kind of attack is unprecedented. Candidates get upset at each other, but they rein themselves in because they know that ultimately if they win they're going to have to appeal to the other guy's supporters, which is hard to do if you've personally and gratuitously insulted him. But not Trump, who is undeterred by such considerations.
So after a season of “Little Marco” and “Ben Carson is a psycho” everybody is just supposed to fall in line in the name of party unity. But that is the whole point of sticking to issues and practicing restraint, because otherwise it's difficult to unify everyone after being subjected to nasty personal attacks, including attacks on one's family.
For the good of the party, for the good of American political discourse, Trump must pay a price. A content-free campaign based on bluster and the personal destruction of political opponents (e.g., Ben Carson) cannot be allowed to succeed. In Trump you have the combination of empty bluster, reckless, destructive statements, and personal attacks, which might be described as “bullshit in a china shop.” If the Trump model proves to be successful, why would any candidate bother to bone up on arcane subjects like economics or geopolitics?

Trump's supporters must pay a price. When you reject sober candidates and instead choose a WWE entertainer, you do everyone in the party and the country a disservice, and you deserve to lose. It's hypocritical to vote for Kim Kardashian or Floyd Mayweather Jr. for Republican presidential nominee and then lecture all the sane, mature voters to “come together for the good of the party.” If you had the good of the party in mind you wouldn't vote for Trump, nor would you excuse every ignorant, insulting thing he says.
This is why Hillary needed to be indited. Instead of saying, “Well, we can't possibly interfere in the political process, especially something as momentous as a presidential election,” a clear message needs to be sent that you had better not vote for a shady character under investigation or your party's chances of winning power may just blow up in your face. Now what is there to stop the Democrats from nominating Rob Blagoyevich or a member of the Gambino crime family as a Democrat nominee for president, knowing they'll get all the benefits of corruption and crooked dealing coupled with a get-out-of-jail-free card?
I'm tired of the appeals to “party unity.” Hey, you, the guy who's dad is a closet pedophile, you need to come together for the good of the party. So Trump said your sister is a hooker; don't be petty. And you, the lady with the ugly kids, you need to stop selfishly thinking about your fat self and work for the greater good. Moron with the buck teeth, get over yourself and vote for Trump.
The onus of unification is on Trump, not on the hordes of people he's viciously insulted.
